Grandma Urgo

If you`re a follower, you know that my grandma and I were very close and that she loved Canadian Geese.

While watching the sunrise in Oregon with a group of photographers at Jonsrud Viewpoint, this flock of geese came whipping through with minimal warning. I was lucky that my camera wasn`t on a tripod and I was able to adjust and catch them as the flashed in front of Mount Hood. Just makes me think she`s around when things like that happen. 🙂

This is my first edit and I`ll probably share more in the future, because I find the image so stunning.

One of the first CDs (dating myself) that I owned was Yanni, Live at the Acropolis, which my grandmother gave me as a gift. I thought Santorini, my favorite song off the album was a great fit for the image!

Not all my pictures come with a story, but this one definitely does.

When we got to Cinque Terre she said: Now I want to go there!
